Deputy Assistant Secretary of the visit to Lebanon, the United States for Near Eastern Affairs Elizabeth Dibble 26 in Beirut, said the United States is uneasy with the Syrian crisis caused by the unstable situation in Lebanon.




The U.S. embassy in Lebanon said in a statement, Dibble during his visit to Lebanon during the Lebanese political situation, the Syrian crisis and other regional issues discussed with Li of officials and politicians. She reiterated the U.S. commitment to help safeguard Lebanon's stability, sovereignty and independence.




Dibble said that the U.S. government will continue to provide support to Lebanon, including the army of Li Li agencies, and appreciation of Li government forces play in maintaining border security and to defend national sovereignty and independence as the only defense force for Li role.




Dibble reiterated the U.S. position on Syria, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Syria Joint Special Envoy of Kofi Annan's proposal must be fully implemented. She also deeply disturbed by the hardships suffered by the people of Syria and Syrian refugees who fled abroad to escape the war, welcomed the Lebanese Government with the coordination of the international community to provide humanitarian assistance to the Syrian refugees
